Hello, my name is Mrs. Melanie Golden. I am the Director of the Youth Service Center at Menifee County High School, Menifee Central 6-8 and the Menifee Academy. I grew up in Menifee County and graduated from MCHS in 1995. I then attended Morehead State University where I obtained my Bachelor of Social Work. This is my 19th year as the Director in Menifee.

In addition to the Youth Service Center I also serve as the Director of our local Kentucky Agency for Substance Abuse Policy (KY-ASAP), as well as serve on the local UNITE Board, School Safety & Educational Support Committee, PTO, Grandparent Support Group, 4-H Council, FRYSC Coalition, Regional FRYSC Advisory Council, MC and MCHS Wellness Committee, MC and MCHS Leadership Committee.

YSC Vision:

The Kentucky Division of Family Resource and Youth Service Centers in the Cabinet for Health and Family Services shall establish the national standard of excellence in the provision of school-based family support.
